Welcome to Mending Hearts — a sanctuary for those seeking clarity, comfort, and the courage to reconnect with themselves.
I’m Jasmine Randhawa, a psychologist with over seven years of experience in the mental health field. My journey into psychology wasn’t planned, I didn’t always know I’d become a therapist. Like many people, I once stood at the edge of uncertainty, unsure of what I truly wanted from life.
But even then, one thing was always clear I had a deep, intuitive understanding of people. I could sense their emotions, even the ones they didn’t say aloud. Psychology found me not as a career decision, but as a path that aligned with my instinct to help, to hold, and to heal. Over time, this path has become not just my profession, but a reflection of who I am.
I began with an Honors degree in Psychology, followed by a Master’s, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Professional Counselling and Psychotherapy, where I honed evidence-based techniques to support individuals through their emotional journeys. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology, deepening my academic and clinical understanding of the human mind.
My Clinical Experience
Professionally, I have worked:
As a psychologist under the National Health Mission (NHM) and Punjab Health Service Corporation (PHSC) for three years.
In psychiatric and de-addiction hospitals, supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use
These experiences have shaped not only my skills as a therapist but also my empathy and compassion as a fellow human being who understands the depths people carry.
Healing, to me, is rarely neat or quick.
It doesn’t always make sense in the beginning — in fact, it often feels like a never ending storm. But as the journey unfolds, little by little, meaning begins to emerge.
I’ve learned through both life and work that things don’t happen to us, they happen for us — so that we can grow, evolve, and come home to ourselves.
Healing is a choice — and every step you take inward expands your capacity to hold space not just for yourself, but for others.
Clients often describe our sessions as calming, grounding, and safe. They’ve shared that I listen deeply with patience, without judgment and help them feel truly understood.
I work with a blend of:
My approach is integrative and intuitive, rooted in both knowledge and personal insight from walking through my own storms including moments of emotional paralysis, grief, and uncertainty. These lived experiences have strengthened my capacity to hold space for others as they navigate their own.
